ZACH JOHNSON FOUNDATION
The Zach Johnson Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping Cedar Rapids children and their families lead happy, healthy lives. Kids on Course is a program of the Zach Johnson Foundation and is a dream of Zach Johnson and his wife, Kim.
Zach was born in Iowa City, and raised in Cedar Rapids. He took up golf at age ten and honed his skills at Elmcrest Country Club. In 2003, while playing on the Nationwide Tour, Zach won twice and topped the money list with record earnings. Topping the list automatically qualified Zach for the 2004 PGA TOUR. His 12 wins on the TOUR include the 2015 Open Championship and the 2007 Masters. He is the first player ever on the PGA TOUR to win his first two majors at Augusta and The Old Course at St. Andrews.
Married in 2003, Zach and his wife, Kim have three children, Will, Wyatt, and Abby Jane. They now reside in St. Simons Island, Georgia.
“While I like winning golf tournaments, I enjoy helping kids and families in need even more. I feel like I was put on this Earth to do more than chase a white ball around a golf course.”ZACH JOHNSON
